Expiring Working With Children Checks

One or more volunteers in our organisation have a Working with Children Check (WWCC) that expires soon.

To continue working with children, volunteers and Club officials in 2025 must apply again and receive clearance before yourcurrent check expires.

It is our responsibility to make sure all our volunteers in relevant roles hold a valid check. There are steps to follow on the Screening website.

Applying for a new WWCC

If you are doing it yourselves, please refer to sa.gov.au/wwcc to start the process.

Allow at least 3 months for applications to be processed. Complex applications may take longer.

The volunteer must verify their identity before we can process the application. Most people can do this online with their driver’s licence plus 1 of the following:

Australian passport
Australian birth certificate
Australian citizenship certificate
