Dear Parents/Guardians,
It’s with great regret that today’s u13s game vs Suffolk has been CANCELLED due to the wet weather recently and a waterlogged pitch. Due to the slope and heavy rain, quite a considerable amount of water managed to get under the covers overnight.
After speaking to the ground staff this morning and seeing a photo of the pitch, it wasn't possible to get a game going, as the ball just wouldn't bounce on the wet surface.
Please confirm you’ve seen this message in the comments box and hopefully, we will get more luck for additional games for the rest of the month.
There is hope that the sun might do enough to dry out the pitch for tomorrow's game, so please assume it's going ahead unless you hear otherwise.
