It is with pride (and some sadness) that we wish Tamara Clapton all the best on her move to Premier Women's Cricket.
Tamara's impact on Para Hills across the whole landscape of the club was immeasurable, not just on the field but also off the field.
It was through her immense talent, leadership and commitment to our women's side that saw her play a massive role in our first Women's premiership, a season that she was awarded the JR Trophy (Club champion) Serena Slade Batting Trophy and Nat Cooke Bowling Trophy, a season that also saw her take home the ATCA women's player of the year, batting & bowling trophies as well as making team of the year.
It was one of the most dominant senior seasons in recent memory with over 800 runs and 24 wickets, with a highest score of 170*
The Club, Committee and Cricket Director Shane Martin were incredibly supportive of Tamara's return to SACA Premier cricket, aligning with our clubs values of always encouraging any player to play the highest standard possible.
You will always have a home to come back to Tamara and we look forward to seeing what you can do at the next level.
All the best
Para Hills Cricket Club.
