hi all - this is an expression of interest to take 3 age group teams to Perth, Western Australia on tour.
This usually occurs over the WA day long weekend holiday in Perth. The date for 2025 is 2 June which means matches will be played all of May 31, Jun 1 and Jun 2.
We are planning to take to the competition: 1 x U16 team 1 x U12 team
For friendlies (TBD based on sign ups): 1 x U8 team
Estimated costs per child (excluding visa costs): Scoot: SGD$1900-2300 SQ: SGD$2000-$2500
Parents welcome at your own cost/accomodations etc.
most academies take the kids - and unless the kids are unable to defer exams/have exams, have been able to go.
TLDR:
1. coaches will be traveling and will look after the kids 2. parents/families can travel with @ own cost 3. trip will include - competition, possible friendlies, sight seeing, team bonding and BBQ 4. we will be looking @ quad - 6 sharing to manage costs (triple or twin share will be more expensive); we are tentatively looking at karrinyup waters resort accomodations* subject to availability 5. each child must have their own passport to travel 6. matches for the tournament will be played over 2-3 days @ Gold Netball Centre 7. Each child needs to have their own travel/accident insurance to travel 8. a deposit of $1000 will be collected prior to confirm spot. any cancellation by provided cut off date will incur full cost of the trip
