Hi all! Happy hump day.
Some key (LONG) updates.
1. Term 2 fees are being progressively loaded onto the PLAI app starting today. If you don’t see it by the end of the week, please flag. If you see yours on, you can make payment already
2. u13 league participation fees have been uploaded as well and a request has been sent to you. If you have 2 kids playing, please do make the qty 2 :)
3. we have a few outstanding kit purchases which have not yet been paid - you can see these on the app, please do make payment (or we can send you a link, please let me know)
4. we are trying to organise a trip to JB for u9/u12/u15 the weekend of 6/7 Sept. the current plan is to go in the late afternoon of the Friday, do some team bonding activities and a dinner. Play a bunch of friendlies on the Saturday from 9am-11am or so and then hop on the bus back. Those who joined last year know it was a great day out and was a great opportunity for girls to be independent and bond with their peers “outside of netball”. I will be putting up an expression of interest along with a deposit collection on PLAI for this as well.
5. As we near yhe midpoint of term 2, I will also put up term 3 dates soon including a very exciting dads and daughters (or mums and daughters) mini tournament to happen in term 3.
6. We are taking name suggestions for our academy teams (u4/6/9/12/16). As reference, our adult teams are birds of prey such as eagles, hawks, falcons.
